TAP partnered with the Citizen Potawatomi Nation Environmental Youth Camp in March 2019 to teach Native youth about tribal efforts to support pollinators and how they could help. Kaya Deerinwater, Citizen Potawatomi Community Garden Coordinator led the group on field identification session to learn more about the uses of important cultural plants for Potawatomi people, with TAP providing technical information on how those plants also support pollinators.
