N. tabacum has been widely used throughout tribal nations for numerous types of ceremonies.
Notes:
While we don’t use or recommend this species for any restoration projects, it is an excellent plant for gardens. Hummingbirds and moths often visit the flowers. They are also a host plant of Manduca sexta (Tobacco Hornworm)!
