Helianthus angustifolius, Swamp Sunflower

A recent addition to our seed bank, H. angustifolius is an excellent wildflower for wet gardens and areas for restoration. We have planted it in drier areas as well and it seems to do fine. Many species of birds have been observed perching on the stalks and eating the seeds.
